Will access to my home be restricted during construction?
There may be temporary restrictions, but construction crews will ensure that residents have access to their homes. Alternative routes and maintenance of traffic will be provided as part of the project scope.
How will construction affect local traffic?
Construction along Park Road will require temporary road closures and detours. Residents will be informed about these changes prior to any road closures.
What measures will be taken to minimize noise and dust?
Various methods will be used to control noise and dust including erosion control fencing, regular cleaning and maintenance of the construction site, as well as work being scheduled during daytime hours to minimize disruption of local adjacent residents.

How is the project being funded?
This project is being funded through a joint partnership between the City of Greensburg and Decatur County. The City of Greensburg and Decatur County have been awarded over $22 million through INDOT for the Park Road Reconstruction Project Phases 1-4.
How is the project being funded?
Landscape maintenance and trash removal will be the responsibility of Decatur County (phase 1) and the City of Greensburg (phases 2-4). Residents will continue to be responsible for mowing their respective properties.
Will any trees be removed during construction? If so, will these be replaced as part of the project?
Some tree removal may be necessary where trees conflict with the project. The proposed design includes adding new street trees as a trail amenity. Where tree removals are unavoidable, the intent would be to replace the tree that was removed where feasible and appropriate for long-term visibility and safety.
Will this project be addressing existing drainage issues along Park Road?
Yes, the project being designed to address current drainage issues along park road.
Will this project require ROW acquisition?
The goal is to stay within existing public right-of-way as much as possible, but some right-of-way (ROW) acquisition and/or temporary easements will likely be needed in certain locations.
Will construction begin on phases 1 through 4 before knowing if funding is secured for phase 5?
Yes, construction for phases 1-4 will begin and are not dependent on funding for phase 5.
